In the toy shop

"I want the one towards your right"
"You see the big one? yeah, the one next to that"
"Not that one, the one behind the one behind it"
"The one in the middle of the rightmost shelf please"
It was so crazy out there
Everyone seemed so excited
And they knew so well
Which is the one they want
And the keeper in such a generous mood
And I am so sorry
But I got carried away
And I asked for one too
So full with anticipation
I couldn't shout,
I just whispered
"On the left corner, there is an empty space
I need the one that used to be there"
And the keeper had to stop the whole trade
To let everyone know
DREAMS FROM PAST / NOT SOLD HERE
I am so sorry for spoiling everyone's evening.

A Yellow Ribbon

Over the mountains,
across the foothills,
into the plains beyond ..

Flying uncertain,
composing idylls,
towards a morning born ..

Orange skies,
blue shadows,
and a golden sun ..

A painter's eyes,
few cupid's arrows,
and a yellow ribbon ?
